My Story

I’m Brian Fisher. For most of my adult life I’ve been the person organizations call when something needs to be built or fixed.

I built an HR recruiting firm. A construction and landscape company. A concrete cutting and demolition business I started from nothing in 2011 and sold in 2015. A real estate portfolio. And then in 2021 a pastor called me specifically to come fix the operations, finances, and structure of a major church. I said yes. I always say yes when someone needs something built.

But somewhere along the way I realized I had built foundations under everyone else’s dream and never under my own.

Every morning before the meetings started I walked out to the cattle on the church property. Not because it was scheduled. Because it was the truest hour of my day. The quiet. The animals. The physical work. The peace that no boardroom has ever produced.

Then my father-in-law offered us 40 acres in Wellington, Kansas. I almost said no. I wasn’t looking for Kansas. But God wasn’t asking where I wanted to go. He was showing me where He was taking me.

Second Harvest Life is what happens next. I’m documenting every step — the planning, the transition, the land, the faith, and the real numbers behind a decision most people would call crazy.

The first harvest was everything I built for the world. This is the second harvest. And it’s the one that matters most.
